Eau Claire Community Foundation Awards Grant Funding

The Eau Claire Community Foundation has announced the distribution of nearly $180,000 in grant funding to a number of local organizations.

According to a press release, the 2026 Community Health Grant Cycle is now in its second year thanks to funding from the Community Health Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund was created through the consolidation of a number of other charitable funds aimed at addressing critical needs in the region.

The 2026 Community Health Grant Cycle seeks to support programs offered by local nonprofit organizations focused on healthcare in the Eau Claire area. This round of grant funding will go to support organizations that offer programs and services aimed at addressing local health needs, reducing barriers to accessing healthcare, and improving the overall wellbeing of local residents.

Individual grant awards range from $10,000 to $25,000. Nine organizations will receive a portion of that funding, including Curtie Cares to provide transportation services to medical appointments for residents with mobility issues and the Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation to expand access to their behavioral health services. Big Brothers Big Sisters will also receive funding to expand its youth mentorship program in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club and Eau Claire County.

Other organizations that received funding awards include Feed My People Food Bank, Home for Good of Eau Claire, and National Alliance on Mental Illness Chippewa Valley. Previous rounds of funding through the grant program have also supported services aimed at improving access to affordable housing and providing food assistance to Eau Claire area residents in need.
